Return & Refund Policy

1. Scope and Intent

This Return and Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through Chillworthy Yard Supply, operated by Backyard Supply LLC, at www.chillworthy.com.

⚠ Return eligibility, windows, and conditions vary by product and brand. Most items may be returned within 30 days of delivery, but some products carry different windows or are non-returnable. Please refer to the individual product page for brand-specific terms before purchasing. Some items cannot be returned once shipped.

Where returns are accepted, customers may request a return within the window specified on the product page (30 days from delivery unless otherwise noted), subject to the conditions below. General eligibility requires:

Unused & Undamaged Items must be unused, undamaged, and in the same condition as received.
Original Packaging Items must be returned in original packaging with all tags, labels, and accessories.
Proof of Purchase A valid receipt or order confirmation is required to initiate any return.

4. Return Process

4.1 Initiating a Return

Email hello@chillworthy.com with your order number and reason for return. Once approved, we'll provide return instructions and a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number if applicable.

4.2 Preparing Your Return

Pack the item securely in its original packaging with all manuals, accessories, and free gifts included. Include any return documentation provided.

4.3 Shipping the Return

Returns are accepted by mail or freight carrier. Ship the item within 7 days of receiving return authorization using a trackable shipping method.

5. Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect. In those cases, Chillworthy will cover return shipping.

Change of Mind

Where eligible, returns are accepted within the window noted on the product page (30 days from delivery unless otherwise stated). Items must be unused and in original packaging. A restocking fee of up to 20% of the product price may apply, and the customer is responsible for return shipping. Refund issued to the original payment method, less any applicable restocking fee.

Defective or Damaged

Must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photos or video. We will provide a replacement or full refund including return shipping.

Incorrect Product

Notify us immediately. We cover all return shipping and will send the correct product.

Never Arrived

Contact us if your order doesn't arrive within the estimated window. If confirmed lost, we'll issue a full refund or send a replacement.

Order Cancellation

Before shipment: full refund. After shipment: must follow the standard return process.

Non-Returnable Items

Custom or personalized products, installed or used items, gift cards, and downloadable software are not eligible for return under any circumstances.

7. Refunds

7.1 Approval & Processing

Refunds are issued after the returned item is received and inspected. Customers will be notified via email. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–14 business days depending on your bank or payment provider.

7.2 Partial Refunds

May apply if returned items are damaged, missing parts, or received outside the approved return window.

8. Exchanges

We replace items only if they are defective, damaged, or incorrect. Email hello@chillworthy.com to initiate an exchange. Shipping is covered for defective or incorrect items. Customers are responsible for shipping on change-of-mind exchanges.

9. Legal Rights

This Return & Refund Policy does not affect your statutory rights under U.S. consumer law.
