1. Scope and Intent

This Return and Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through Chillworthy Yard Supply, operated by Backyard Supply LLC, at www.chillworthy.com (the “Website”).

3. Return Eligibility

Customers in the United States may request a return within 14 days of receiving their order, subject to the conditions below:

  • Unused & Undamaged – Items must be unused, undamaged, and in the same condition received.

  • Original Packaging – Items must be returned in original packaging with all tags, labels, and accessories.

  • Proof of Purchase – A valid receipt or order confirmation is required.


4. Return Process

4.1 Initiating a Return

  • Email hello@chillworthy.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and reason for return.

  • Once approved, we’ll provide return instructions and, if applicable, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

4.2 Preparing Your Return

  • Pack the item securely in original packaging with all manuals, accessories, and free gifts included.

  • Include any return documentation provided.

4.3 Shipping the Return

  • Ship the item within 7 days of receiving return authorization.
    We recommend using a trackable shipping method.


5. Return Shipping Costs

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect.


6. Specific Conditions

6.1 Change of Mind

  • Eligible within 14 days of receipt.

  • Refund issued to original payment method, minus any restocking fees (if applicable).

6.2 Defective or Damaged Items

  • Must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Photos or videos may be required for verification.

  • We will provide a replacement or full refund, including shipping costs.

6.3 Incorrect Product Received

  • Notify us immediately.

  • We will cover all return shipping costs and send the correct product.

6.4 Product Never Arrived

  • Contact us if your order does not arrive within the estimated delivery time.

  • If confirmed lost by the carrier, we will issue a full refund or replacement.

6.5 Order Cancellation

  • Before shipment: Full refund.

  • After shipment: Must follow standard return process.


7. Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom or personalized products

  • Perishable goods

  • Intimate/sanitary items (e.g., swimwear, personal care, etc., unless unopened)

  • Gift cards and downloadable software


8. Refunds

8.1 Approval & Processing

  • Refunds are issued after the returned item is received and inspected.

  • Customers will be notified via email regarding approval.

  • Refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 7–14 business days, depending on the bank/payment provider.

8.2 Partial Refunds

  • May apply if returned items are damaged, missing parts, or received late without prior approval.


9. Exchanges

  • We replace items only if they are defective, damaged, or incorrect.

  • For exchanges, email hello@chillworthy.com.

  • Shipping costs are covered for defective/incorrect items; customers pay shipping for change-of-mind exchanges.


10. Legal Rights

This Return & Refund Policy does not affect your statutory rights under U.S. consumer law.
